tresChelle's 1st Sale!

tresChelle has made her first sale! Yahoo! This chair was an instant hit. I loved it but I am pretty sure the new teenager that is now the proud owner will love it even more!

Dinner is Served

 This is where we started
The base was easy and quick!
 Cracks filled and top primed.
Put back together and distressed but wait one more step!
Ahhh...some antiquing stain added to the top for a bit more texture. Love it!

Finished Products

These two pieces are from my Today's Projects. Took a little longer to wrap some of these up got a little involved in the boys' school!

Same wicker and black chair as the pink/zebra. Love how things
all turn out so differently!

It's a jungle out there

Here is the wicker and black faux leather chair from a few days ago. The weather is for sure slowing down my progress but this one was worth the wait. Love the Zebra!

Today's Projects

These are sanded and ready for primer and paints. The major problem is that it is a brisk 39 degrees outside. NOT acceptable for painting. I've done some in the garage but keeping good air and the heat in at the same time is next to impossible. For now the garage is warming itself and the paint is drying. I'm gonna have to find a new method to work! I need a shop!

Just like Mommy

Got a little helper who is ready and willing to learn about the ways of making thing pretty again!

Sitting Pretty

These boring chairs have come a ways! I am fond of the red one the most! Hope they find a happy spot in some ones home!

Mr. Blue

This chair was a job! But it's done and looking pretty good for a first attempt at re-upholstering something!

A look at what's to come

Little preview for some projects that are still in process. Chair is almost done. The table is requiring a little assistance from my consultant (aka my husband!).

Teacher Teacher

The weekends for sales are closing down. So finding fun things to work on is getting harder. This is possibly one of the quickest fun projects of the summer. I still need to stain the seat before I sell it. The regular desk top has also been transformed to a chalkboard top.

Fine Finishes

Looking forward to seeing how these pieces sell. Going to do a Craft Sale at the end of October! Still working out pricing in my head.

Look Close

This might just look like a pile of junk! This is the first set of projects that I got once I decided that I was going to sell my little treasures! In there is a bench, plant stand, two stools and an office chair that was in process when I took the picture.

The Reason for all that Celery

Our formal dining room has been a crafty room, the shake and go car room, the art room and just plain empty off and on for the 7 years we have lived in our house. We've had the kitchen table from my growing up years under the house since we moved. No chairs though. So in my quest to refinish things and make them cute again. I took on doing chairs for the table. Our dining room is now a small step closer to being a real functioning dining area! Still on the search for a hutch, buffet, credenza or something to finish out the room a little bit more. For now this is my start!

Hope nobody is looking for this!

On my way to Old Navy I passed by the dumpsters for a few of the other businesses saw this lovely black chair sitting out there calling me to save it! Has to be one of the ugliest paint jobs I've seen. Lot bit of sanding and primer then of course some Celery Paint. Tada much better.

LIttle bit of IGP

Some Instant Gratification Project (IGP) for the boys.

Pretty Purple Table

Went to a sale with my neighbor one weekend, found this little baby for a whole dollar! Fixed her up and gave it to my momma!

Little bit of everything

It might seem like I have a thing for this green color! I have a bigger plan for the green chairs!

Sew Beautiful

Okay finally a before and after! I picked up this old sewing table at a garage sale for a whole 2 dollars! Painted, distressed and stained. Notice the lovely side chair!

Baby or a Chair?

Chair was picked up at a garage sale for $10.00. Kinda hard to decide what is cuter Baby or Chair.....hmmmm baby!

Dump Chair

John stopped by the transfer site on his way home for lunch one day and came home with a project chair. Can't beat free. I thought I had taken a before pic but I guess not so just the after!
